Courtney is a behavioral research scientist with 9+ years of experience designing rigorous experiments and analyzing large-scale data using inferential statistics, machine learning, NLP, and computational modeling in Python and R.

She just completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at Columbia University (May 2026), where she conducted research in the Columbia Social Neuroscience Lab with Dr. Meghan Meyer.

Courtney’s current work focuses on human social behavior - applying neuroimaging and reinforcement learning frameworks to model and understand social learning, memory, and decision-making, implemented in Python/R.

She is actively seeking roles that bridge human behavior and machine learning, with particular interest in organizations advancing computational models of human cognition.

Courtney previously received an M.Phil. in Psychology from Columbia University, an M.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College, and a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
